Read the story behind Reposit and meet the team
Reposit was founded because we know that paying a security deposit hurts. We think it’s crazy having large sums of money stored away in case somebody breaks something - you wouldn’t carry thousands of pounds in your suitcase in case you have an accident on holiday, so why do it when letting a property?
We were founded by tenants, and we are on a social mission to make renting more affordable and accessible. We want to provide a simple, clear solution that benefits everyone in the chain whether that be a letting agent, landlord or tenant.
Meet the Team
Co-founder and the spark that ignited Reposit, also the one in charge of keeping everyone happy. Jude trained as an actor before working in campaigns. If he didn’t start Reposit he might have been a chef, he is the best cook in the office. He loves dogs, theatre and going to the beach.
Former cyber-security engineer for the Home Office, Brendan is a master at building secure online platforms. He started his first award-winning business while still at university and has been honing his craft ever since. He enjoys learning about innovative technologies as well as watching live music.
Insurance & Compliance Advisor
Lorraine has over 20 years experience in financial services regulation and compliance - most recently as Group Compliance Officer for Catlin and Group Regulatory Affairs Officer for XL Catlin.
Senior Partnerships Manager
Max joined the Reposit team after studying Business Management at the University of Leeds. A budding sports fanatic, in 2010 Max represented team GB playing tennis at the JCC games in Colorado, and also enjoys watching the “mighty Spurs” play football. He loves cooking, but only on the hob as he has a phobia of microwaves.
Before Sanna joined Reposit, she was an Operations Executive for a logistics and e-commerce start up. Spending her days working in a warehouse, there was a good chance she oversaw the delivery of one of your christmas presents (not the ones from Santa of course). Her guilty pleasure is that she still collects Pokemon cards, much to her mother's surprise.
Digby is our resident Rugby fanatic, you can find him on the pitch at weekends getting beaten up. He recently graduated from University of Southampton having studied History. When not fighting other men, he gets his kicks from travelling the world and experiencing exciting new adventures. He is originally from Cornwall which means his favourite food is of course a pasty.
Rhori started at Reposit after finishing his Masters of Management at Imperial College in London. He is originally from down under where he studied at the University of Melbourne. In his spare time Rhori is a keen, if ineffective, cricketer who also dabbles in a bit of fishing when the sun is out.
Adel started working for Reposit after spending the previous 5 years running his own apparel and street food businesses. He spent much of his younger years living in Spain, where he found his love for food, fashion and salsa! When he is not complaining about the weather, he is also a keen footballer and archer.
Marketing & Comms
Carla is a coffee whisperer (quality stuff only!) and a polyglot. Prior to joining Reposit, she studied French and Spanish at UCL. Carla's lived all over the globe: from Croatia, to Canada, to Uruguay but her favourite place remains Latin America. She dreams of travelling back to Brazil and eating açai on the beach.
Originally from Australia, Leon joined Reposit to be a part of a fast growing and innovative company that is challenging the status quo in the property and insurance industries. He has a background of working in both healthcare and finance and is an alumni of both The University of Melbourne and Monash University. Leon is also a sports fanatic, foodie, global traveler and heads up the internal committee campaigning for a coat stand in the office.
Prior to joining Reposit, Joe spent 10 years working in Investment Banking as a funds analyst, which at one point had him living and working in Iceland. Last year Joe embarked on a dramatic career change, attending Makers Academy to become a software developer. Joe is a talented pianist who plays by ear, which makes him perfect for the Reposit parties.
Lead Software Developer
Chris started his career in music, working hard to become an audio engineer. The music business wasn’t kind to him so he decided to change direction and has worked as a developer for advertising agencies over the last 9 years before getting bitten by the start-up bug. When he isn’t plugged in he spends his time learning to surf and loves brewing his own beer having once been the owner of a nano brewery.
George started off his career in insurance, but made the decision to go to university and train as a software engineer. George is a music fanatic - when he is not playing the drums, he is likely out at a show. Also loves playing cricket - but wishes he could find more time to play.
